Hey just got back from the Offspring concert in Sioux City Iowa and it was amazing! Street Dogs blew us away. Irish punk band from Boston!! WOW Alkaline Trio were kick ass too. I have been a fan of the Offspring since 1990 and this is the first time I‘ve seen them live. I don‘t know what the hell I was waiting for! They play some great older hits and mixed in some new. Amazing show guys. Thanks and I will see them again!

It was an absolute amazing show! It was my first one, and when I found out they were coming to Iowa I just had to go. The three hour drive didn‘t matter, my brother and I were going and that was that. They played every single song I wanted to hear and more, it was awesome. Gone Away on the piano was just beautiful and I really wish I could get that in mp3 form. Overall, it was a kickass concert and I wish I can go again at some point because it‘d be so worth it. Even if we get another speeding ticket on the way home like we did. Great way to top off the night. :P

Hey, I went to see The Offspring in Sioux City, Iowa on Memorial Day… It was SOOO awesome. I am so glad I went! When Dexter Holland played Peanuts music on the Piano (and the pre-music bantering!) it was so funny. They played an awesome mix of songs, new and old. The crowd was singing, shouting, jumping, dancing, moshing, crowd surfing, every thing! So fun! wished they‘d have played Hit That, but oh well. Maybe next time…! I would totally see them again: in a minute. They should seriously come to OMAHA, NEBRASKA!!! I love that you can take pictures and video of the show. I‘ve never been to a concert where they let you do that, which sucks.

I went to the offspring last night. This was my first concert. I thought rocked. It was the best concert i have been to. They played most of their good songs i just with i would of go Dexters Autograph but i got one from the Street Dogs! Viva La Offspring!!!

My friends and I drove in from Chicago for this show and we got a chance to see a stadium tour in a very intimate setting as the arena had only 4500 people. Alkaline Trio did their best to win over the crowd but the lack of radio love in Sioux City was very obvious. WE did get a treat when they threw in “Cringe” (One of their oldest songs) towards the end of the set.

The Offspring for some reason are employing a phantom 2nd or in some cases 3rd guitar player…the sound was very full but as a guitar player myself I could hear the 3 guitars tripping over each other at times.

The set list did a decent job of representing the bands career with songs from every album with the glaring omission of Ignition. Also Ixnay On The Hombre and Conspiriacy Of One were horribly underepresented. I know that there is a new album out but when you‘ve been off the road for this long maybe it‘s time to start playing a 2 hour set and giving a more career retrospective set..

    Set list was as follows

    Shit Is Fucked Up
    Bad Habit
    Your Gonna Go Far
    Come Out And Play
    Walla Walla
    Have You Ever
    Staring At The Sun
Gone Away (Dexter played this one with a piano by himself)
    Rise Fall Rage And Grace
    Gotta Get Away
    Kristy Are You Doing Ok?
Why Dont You Get A Job?
    Americana
    All I Want
    Pretty Fly
Can‘t Get My Head Around You
    The Kids Arent Alright
    Hammerhead
    Want You Bad
    Self Esteem

I went to the show in Sioux City, IA on Monday, May 25th. I was very pleased with the small show atmosphere. I sat in seats about 30 yards away from the stage and I was loving every minute of the show. They came out with Stuff is Messed Up and kept jamming the whole time. I really loved when Dexter played Gone Away on the piano. I would love if it was on a cd that I could buy. My favorite songs from the show were Gotta Get Away (my favorite Offspring song ever) and Want You Bad. I would love to know the set list from this show if anyone knows or remembers it.
