ok.......i just got in a semi argument with my mates about the origins of 4/20, national pot smoking day. they said it was a police code, and i said that it was a thing started by a bunch of california kids, and i wanted to know, NOT WHAT U THINK , but whats the truth.

It is police code for possession of marijuana (I think). National Pot Day officialy starts 4:20pm.
