Have any of you noticed the similarities in choruses of these two songs. I overlayed "have you ever" onto dirty magic with a 12 second delay and the choruses are almost identical bar the lyrics. I found this interesting, other bands have done it as well. Sublime is a classic example you can see songs emerging that were several years in the making, Santaria is one of them.

i noticed long time ago..the sound of the chorus is the same :P haha

I was gonna say that. There is even a section in the middle of Americana where Dexter yells. "I just wanna FUUUUCK UUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!"
Also, Way Down The Line and The Kids Aren't Alright have a similar subject. One is more depressing than the other, though.
Oh, and D.U.I. and Kick Him When He's Down sound similar, too.

has anyone noticed how alike the beginning of da hui and come out swinging are? i dunno if it has been mentioned....i dunno if i even shoulda make my own thread for this subject or not, so..yeah

the guitar riff for Amazed and Dammit I Changed Again sound similar, but the one for Dammit I Changed Again is quite a bit faster.

i was just thinking about da hui and come out swinging also at the end of da hui, there is a quick riff that sounds like bloodstains, although it is by agent orange

ive noticed similarities with a lot of their songs, dirty magic and vultures, million miles away and the kids arent alright etc!

I havn't noticed it but maybe I'll try listening to both of them at the same time. See if my bad ears can hear it to.

both songs are in the same key of E but other wise the chord progressions are different

Τhe intro of Nothing From Something is similar to that of Million Miles Away.
Realy random but the chorus guitar riff in cool to hate is the same but faster of the intro to gone away...
