Ron Welty:
"He was in a band called Spinning Fish back in the days. Together with Doug Osterkamp who also played in Spinning Fish and with George Squiers (ex-offspring crew) and Aaron Pointon, he started a band called Steady Ground. In this band he does not only play drums but also guitar, vocals and bass.
He left The Offspring cause they didn't get along anymore.
And if you've heard the song Session from the album Ignition, you hear Ron saying 'Ahhh fuck! fuck fuck fuuuck!'. The cd's intro."

i found that on some other offspring page, under a bio of the band.
is that true? did ron really leave because they didnt get along? and is that really ron saying 'Ahhh fuck! fuck fuck fuuuck!' in the beginning of sessions? i was pretty sure it was dexter, his wife wrote that song right?

it's Dexter in Session. unless Ron has the exact same voice.. LISTEN TO THE VOICE PEOPLE!

i heard somewere that it was ron who done the fuck thing on session. but it is i who does the fuck thing in my session.

can't actually agree with that. at least, I can recognize Dexter, Noodles and Greg's voices.

...Why would he be pissed about playing the song again? Are you getting at he just didn't like doing the intro or something? Dexter did it live in the video I have in Germany '97, I'm pretty sure. Oh well, I knew it was Ron on the record.

And when the hell did Greg K. say "I love Ms. Edmons", and what was he referring to? :confused:

Exactly, from what Dexter said it sounded like he was pissed he had to play it yet again. It's not that hard to scream obsceneties and play drums after.

Greg said he loved Ms Edmons, one of his teachers, in the "Shes got issues: making of" video.
