For about one year we’ve been typing ‘www.offspring.com/forums' into our browsers. Some of us still confusing it with the old ‘bbs.offspring.com’. It’s been a year of various conspiracies, cultural discoveries, controversy and BBS gold threads. The famous ‘Fan Corner’ gang moved to ‘General Chat’ along with many of our ‘n00bs’ who after a few months were addressing the newest members as ‘n00bs’ themselves. Yes, our BBS has always had a thing for sodomising the new ones. Because we all learn the tough way. And if you were not sodomised, you should have been aborted. Proof thereof were and still are the countless abortion threads. But let’s stop and think for a while. Isn’t it really a serious issue to have an opinion on abortions? A beautiful one was demonstrated by HornyPope and his ‘Abortion Story’ (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1769&highlight=abortion+story) which became one of our classics. And it was bloody serious too. At least some believed so…

Never before has the BBS had so many imposters (http://www.offspring.com/forums/memberlist.php?do=getall&page=13&ltr=T&pp=30&order=asc&postslower=0&postsupper=0&sort=username&ausername=&homepage=&icq=&aim=&yahoo=&msn=&joindateafter=&joindatebefore=&lastpostafter=&lastpostbefore=). Some of them trying hard. And hell, they were even creative, modifying our avatars and trying to impersonate us. Yes, don’t I look interesting with cum all over my face?

Around this time the era of BBS orgies on MSN started. [content censored]

The ‘1337’ emerged. Or so it was labeled by our outcasts who felt they don’t belong. Yeah, we frequently give each other rimjobs. Buttsluts 4 lyfe! After all, it’s ‘piemel in de kont’. And the 1337 prejudice grew even stronger after the election of moderators and several meet-ups in 2005.

The intellectual and evaluative observations have been provided by Mota Boy and his ‘Mota Boy’s Thought of the Day’ or Night for that matter and Johnny Nemesis and his ‘These Things I Believe’ in several volumes.

Vera, the Queen of Sarcasm, pwned us with her 'I’m leaving this BBS’ (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6458&highlight=leaving) on April 1st where we had the chance to finally find out what she really thinks about us. Just a few shocking discoveries that changed things forever. And ever.

Then the Era of The Deluded started when the Victorian lady joined the BBS and started her stalkerish threads and terror (think of the French thugs!) against TripBoy. The Wuthering Heights parody stretched itself over several threads where we were able to follow the mind of the insane. Talking like a Bronte novel she wrote stories about him and HornyPope and countless poems. Until the love changed into bitter anger when finally realising the truth. For a while. But as we all know, history repeats itself.

Following the deluded trend Linda made herself present with her astounding logic again and the picture terror started. Haven’t we all looked away in disgust and wished for harlequin babies instead? Time for the famous Ballad of Linda (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14426).

And when Noodles is gay all ruined the image of our hero TripBoy by revealing the linguistic scandal (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9621&highlight=TripBoy+languages). Seriously, who would have thought Trippy doesn’t speak all those languages? Many of us are still disappointed.

Except for scandals we also had racetraitors. Namely JimBob, denying his heritage. Followed by Noodles is gay a couple of months later when we all made the not so shocking discovery that Jenny is a Jew (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14932). Hasn’t it always been obvious? And aren’t the Poles Nordics after all? The one and only true Aryans? Or maybe the inferiority drives her to cut in the shower (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3594&highlight=shower)?

Well, not everyone’s life is easy. Some of us grew up in the ghettooooooo of Paptown Nebraska (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11355&page=2&pp=10&highlight=ghetto). Just like our fellow punkangel (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9779&page=6&pp=40).

Others are a bit more lucky having supermodel girlfriends, like Lodat. Or discovering their true religion just like DarkAngel 666 did by finding her new Satanist brothers on the BBS. ‘Don’t hate me because I’m evil.’ (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11752)

Some resort to becoming pimps (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12784).

Meanwhile, the ‘Pain Incorporated’ (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10245) formed by ninth and Sin Studly started striking against froggylegs with their sexy cruelty, wit and pain infliction.

The BBS has also been successful at cultural studies, providing several evaluations of the French and especially of the British where we came to the conclusion that the ‘Brits are all faggotted and can’t spell’ (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14252) which was (and always has been) later proven by a few marvelous British examples. Honourary exceptions granted, of course.

And we also educated ourselves on the issue of the world war (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12690).

Trolls have provided us with several catchphrases, namely those of EROS

Latinos speak Latin
big sensitive clitoris
WHATTA HOMOS

are only a few of them. EROS was also immortalized in ‘The Adventures of EROS the War Machine’ (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13141) by Sin Studly with one of our favourite characters Rakeem. LOL!

In the area of scandals, there was the ‘Titty Affair’ and exposure of some pitiful material to the local 12 year old sleazebags.

And just because we love each other as much as we do, out of pure and innocent love (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15205&highlight=katrina) we had cybersex in most of the Katrina (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14834&page=1&pp=10&highlight=katrina) threads.

I love how I was really genuinely nice to Linda in that April Fool's post and she ignored it. What I meant by it was basically that I sort of get how she must feel, when shit is continuously being flung her way. Of course it'll make her bitter and angry and all that. And sometimes I do feel like we're too hard on her. Then again, it's just very hard to deny some of the pathetic shit she's said to insult people, even people who stuck up for her like Bella. But yeah.

Also, upon reflection, that post would've been so much funnier, had I been drunk. Mota Boy-drunk, though, not Tizz-drunk (there's a difference - it's called correct spelling). And I should've exaggerated more for comedy's sake. Less honesty next time, Sanni.

same here. although I'm not that much into politics, it was the forum I browsed the most. in a non-serious way, but also sometimes in a serious way. (check hunters-topic) I just picked the topics that kind of mattered to me & always managed to get myself in a heated discussion, which I love.

now it's kind of dead, cold, rigor mortis, boring in there. so I hang here nowadays.
