today was my first 3 mile race. it was really cool because i came in 2nd place for girls 15-18 which is a big accomplishment for me. it was pouring the whole way and i kept thinking i was going to slip somewhere. yeah so sorry for making this thread but i'm just really happy.

67....and thanks.
Nice accomplishment - I couldn't really run 1 mile very well, although I tried to do that about 4 years ago before I started going to the gym.

Congrats, I'm sure running that far is hard to do, I know I couldn't.

thanks. if you think 3 is hard, training involves 6 miles and an endurance day of 10 miles.

Yea, I couldn't do that, I have enough trouble running ten sprints in football.

i can run long distances at a good pace and sprint at the end but i don't like sprinting at all. in soccer practice, our coach thinks sprints are great but i can never run more than 5 sprints in a row.
