Hey, today, I took the PSAT. I found it to actually be quite easy. For those of you who have taken it, what did you think?

I just recently made a sat thread :( :(

I found the sat on Saturday much easier than the psat that I took a couple years ago. Maybe because I got smarter...
EDIT: I might be thinking of another test.

Oh. Damn. Sorry about that. I took the PSAT today as a sophomore, which I heard they don't do in most schools, but somehow my school figured out a way to let us take it. I dunno how. Maybe because we're college prep? Did anyone else take it as a sophomore?

I think I took it as a sophomore. I'm not exactly sure though.

Oh. Maybe I heard wrong then. I don't really pay attention in school.

Oh, for some reason I heard you can only take it as a Junior.... or maybe that's just to qualify for the National Merit thingy....

Oh, I just remembered. The freshemen were all forced to take the psat today at no cost during school hours.

There was Psat testing at my school today too, It must be done country wide on this day. I've never taken the psat or the Sat, I took the superior test the ACT.

I took the PSAT. It was average.

I got the highest score in my school on the PSAT, but I was one of the few students who actually did worse on the SAT than the PSAT. That was frustrating. A few of my friends to whom I had previously assumed myself to be intellectually superior surpassed me after the SAT.
SAT is a longer test, so I probably just have a short attention span. But I already knew that.

i took the psats today in skool, last year i took it ona saturday (ima junior now) it was pretty easy except for some math problems, did anyone get the q about q,r,s,t as variables and the mean is 10 then u gotta do stupid shit to find a different mean, like do s-r and 6s-t. that had me stumped

I took the PSAT today. It was cool, because I missed about half the school day.
I thought the test was easy. That being said, I probably got a 1400 (out of 2400).

I'm pretty sure the answer to that one was 24. But, I could be confusing it with something else. I didn't mind the PSATs, I didn't finish a few questions, especially on the first math one, but I'm not gonna worry too much.

I took the PSATs as a soph & a junior...took the SATs in 7th grade, 8th grade, junior year, and senior year. Unfortunately, we couldn't take the PSATs or the SATs in school. You guys suck. =\
I think the PSATs were harder than the SATs...but I took the old tests without the essay part.
The sophmores and juniors took them today at my school.

Wow. I guess we got the same version because I had trouble with that problem too.

it was
(q+r+t+s)/4=10
that means q+r+t+s=40
Still with me?
Okay, then you filled out the rest and you got something like q+r+t+16=40
Then you simplify to find q+r+t=24, I believe, that's correct.

I don't even remember that question very much. I just remember it took me a while to figure out.

In my head I pronounced "PSAT" as one might pronounce "PSHAAWWW!"

It sometimes is pronounced as one word. The NMSQT is too, but that's just too funny to say aloud most of the time.
