They played Self Esteem 1 out of the 8 shows I think...

It's because they believe that Self Esteem just doesn't seem to go down well in Japan. If you watch the Complete Music Video Collection Dexter and Noodles do actually talk about playing Self Esteem is Japan and I imagine that the reasons that they gave is probably why they didn't play it very much last week.
