These are cool, but useless items. All of the items are real.
This is the catapult watch, possibly the most awesome but useless thing I have ever seen. Would you buy one of these?

You've probably seen this, but this is the dancing coke can. you clap, it dances.

Ceramic smoking baby. Each infant comes with a pack of ten Li'l Smokes and has another one in its mouth, ready to light up and puff. The smokes are actually non-toxic, unscented incense wrapped in paper.

I like how it's considered "retro" and I have a phone just like it that was bought like 8 years ago.

i wouldn't hesitate a bit if i ever saw a catapult watch. that's a very good watch.
and my uncle used to have the donkey. it was very very cool.
Some of that stuff I would fucking love to have! Although I can't really see how the shower curtains would be seen as useless, I want the pissing guy! NOW!

Magic 8 Ball. No you are not going to get laid by the homecoming queen this month. I am a better frickin' fortune teller than this thing.

I'd totally have the slippers. They're not useless.
This thread reminds me of It'll Never Work. Did any of the Brits watch that when they were wee?

".. and neither will we again!"
Wrong show?
That's Baddiel And Skinner Unplanned, buddy. Good show though.
No, the one I'm on about was a CBBC show like 5 years ago (presented by some Scottish lady and a weird looking English chap), anyway, it was a show about crazy, stupid, and downright useless inventions.
Needless to say, the majority were Japanese.

You might be shocked to learn that electric swatters are extremely useful in countries that have large amounts of mosquitos... like the ones in Southeast Asia. You learn to take the things out with anything from your hands to textbooks to rubberbands... but the swatter remains effective and clean for your hands.

EDIT: not sure of the spelling on Baddeal
That'd be Baddiel.
That'd be Baddiel.
Ah yes, of course! Bless you, David.
I COMPLETELY disagree on the uselessness of the Internet Urninal thing. I mean, how standard-American does it get?
Shit like that I can just nick from work ;) I'm cool like that.
Oh, and speaking of useless fortune telling things (Magic 8-ball), check this out:

The God-Jesus Robot.
EDIT: Please note the little Asian boy praying to his robot, and then being savagely denied his request.
Now that really is the ultimate metaphor for the world's growing love of machines. Love it, love it.
The God-Jesus Robot is ahead of it's time. I think it was released in the late 80s.

It's also probably massively blasphemous also.

lol. Not funny. I have used one of those and it really works. And its a lot of fun to watzh the flies zap and pop several times acros it.
When I first saw it I thought it was like. Some kind of tennis racket. Maybe an edible tennis racket in different flavors.

are those swatters abailable in the US?
Lol, and I just noticed the brilliant disclaimer on the smoking baby:
"REAL babies should NEVER smoke"

yes, and they work, too. Especially if you raise livestock like my Nana and Tata.
I know it's avaliable in green.
Oh, does anyone know if that iPod thing is avaliable for Nano?

It depends on your situation. If you really have a fly/bug problem, it's not bad to have. And it's way more fun than a flyswatter.
Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ZZZZZAP!!!

Oh, and you are supposed to kill Ladybirds. They ask for it. The little buggers, prancing around in their fancy shells deserve everything they get.

lol. Ladybirds......
Rofl, Andy's speech-style is the fucking greatest. I know, man. It's like, they say you shouldn't rape 15 year olds, yet they prance around in those skimpy little outfits and advertise. Attention whores.
Although I may not fully understand what Omni just said, I wholeheartedly agree and will defend to the death his right to say it.

I didn't know Voltaire's first name until just now.
Clearly it's Andy.
I feel begrudgingly ignorant.
Me? Alas no, though I wish I was. I just haven't had proper sleep in some time.
