Ok so today I got a DVD from my friend who brought in America over the holidays. So knowing that it won't play un-less I installed a region killer, I found one and installed it on to my compter. I followed all the instructions and re-started it after installing it. However I still get a message saying wrong region. I installed one called DVD Region Killer Version 2.3.0.1, December 8, 2001. So I want to know, is there an upgraded version of the particular region killer installed and if so, where? If not, is there a better region killer availiable? (preferbly free) Also just advice in general for this kind of thing. Thanks for reading.

Try nero showtime.

It should have asked if you wanted another region then, or at least mine did. Unless mine's broken.
I can't help but I think it's pretty funny that when I first read that title I thought you were asking for a Religion Killer.

I tried Nero and it didn't work. All it did was offered me to buy something...which I don't need!

download the best thing around, (even if you have to pay for it).
when you have done that, post the name of the program and I'll help you crack it.
I always use AnyDVD, works perfect for me.
