they're real fun for several reasons :

1) you can move around the house while seated
2) you can crank them to the highest level and enjoy a nice drop
3) when you play an imaginary drumkit with enough power, the seat goes up and down with your motion.

been there, done that, but at school. i like my chair in the lab i work in now, so i rolled it out of the lab, down the long hall, into the restroom at the other end, and away i pissed.
