So I thought I'd listen to some John Frusciante

Today, I finally plucked up the courage to listen to some of the many, many John Frusciante solo CD's my friend put on my computer about 6 months ago. I have to say, I am very, very, very pleasantly suprised.

Put simply: his solo stuff is absolutely fantastic. A little, um, eccentric in parts but that craziness adds to the dynamic of the place his music sends you to.

Any other opinions?

I got one of his albums off his website. It's not bad but I really don't like his voice so that kinda ruins it for me.
