I heard that is it going to end really really soon. I have never watched in my life and have no clue what it is about, I just know it is going to be canceled.

I love it, and it's not in ratings trouble anymore because it's basically already canceled, FOX is just stalling on announcing it.

I love it. It's only on late-night, non ratings period here, which means when it's on, I hardly ever remember to watch it.
Yeah, it's on late over here also. I loved it, was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the stuff that has been on lately. Now we're just waiting for the BBC to show the next season.

I can't tell if that finale was meant to completely finish off the show or to leave an opening for more episodes.

That's one of "The Big Debates" on the Arrested Development forums. But I think it's only a season finale, but FOX is probably gonna give it up, and the show's going to switch to another network... which is most probably going to happen.
I'm only downloading the final episodes right now.
Wah, just finished watching the last episode.
I can't believe it's actually over. And the last episode was ..holy crap. Such a wild ride.
God, I can't believe it's over. I feel so sad right now.

an arrested development movie perhaps?
it was implied...
SPOILERS, MAEBY.
To me the ending felt so unsatisfactory. Like, I noticed how they tied all the loose ends but it wasn't like, "Hmm, lovely to see the show end in this nice way." but more like I felt it ended way, way too soon. The boat sailing away, I just wanted to do a Vader and go, "Nooooo!", a desperate emo cry of pain.
Thanks a fucking lot, Fox. I'd friggin' love a film, though.
