View Full Version : Amplitude - Scottish Punk Rock Band

We are 4 peice punk rock band from Glasgow, in "Bonnie" Scotland.

The band was formed in around about January 2005. Influenced by, among many others, The Offspring, Sum 41 and Bad Religion, the band decided it would play punk music.

Our first gig at Ivory Blacks on the 20th June playing with The Idea, Roulette Dares and TYO was a big success and thanks to everyone who came to see us, it was a great night. Live tracks from the gig are on Myspace.

After coming narrowly second in Gryffe High School's "Silver Stars", the band has gone on to greater things. A recent gig at the Barfly in Glasgow saw over 50 tickets sold by the band.

We are now recording an EP which will hopefully be available in early 2006. Keep checking the site for details.

We are currently involved with Emergenza (The World Battle of the Bands) and details of up and coming gigs are availible on myspace and our website.

Overall, those songs sound pretty good but those lyrics were god awfull. oh so trite...
