In my last thread, i put Smash against Ignition. Ignition won fairly comfortably. However lots of people wrote in for no real reason supporting Ixnay On The Hombre, and Gone away. I know these two are both fan's preferences so just if this thread works let's not get personal or kill ourselves if we can't decide.

I really liked Ixnay on the hombre when I bought it, but not any more. No Offspring album can compare to their first three imo.

I prefer Ignition. And before anyone starts bitching about this, I'm gonna tell you right now that this thread has probably been made before, but I don't care, it's not the end of the world. Nobody is gonna die because of this, so I hope nobody here will start bitching about this thread.
Ignition, my favourite album.
So many great songs including Nothing From Something and Dirty Magic.

hmmm looks like Ixany is winning. Well to me I like Ignition better than Ixnay. Some Ixnay songs I dont really like, I love all the songs on Ignition. It is a really close call, but I have to go with Ignition.

Gotta go with Ignition, it's just so consistent in having great song after great song, Ixnay's very good, but it's got some songs I'm not such a fan of.

momo: I agree. Ignition never fails with songs. Every single one is good. However, it doesn't have the stand-out tracks of ixnay. Ixnay has the offspring's best songs on it. Plus, only one song ranks below an 8 out of 10, which is damn good. So I pick Ixnay. Plus, it was the album that TRULY got me 100% hooked on the band.

Ignition is really really really good (yes, it deserved 3 reallys), but Ixnay is just pure genius. I have become obsessed with that album.

dude, ignition. all the way. ignition was a really good actual like hardcore punk cd. ixnay was good though, just a little more poppy
