Does anyone know of a good program to convert data from a DVD to something like MPEG?

I have HandBrake on my Mac for that. I haven't used it yet, but it's pretty easy to find on Version Tracker or download.com.

If you wanna get Xvid in avi. use DVD Shrink to make an image of full disc or some parts and then Auto GordianKnot to rip them into avi.

I am currently downloading AutoGordianKnot, however, if for some odd reason it doesn't work out, I will give that one a shot.
