Interestingly enough, I've found that I like giving massages much more than I like receiving them. It seems that my back is so knotted that any amateur massage (I've never gone to a professional) just makes me twitch and spasm more than really enjoy any sort of deep-seated relaxation. Honestly, whenever it comes time to switch I feel a bit annoyed (especially if I get to watch TV or something else stimulating during the course of the rubdown). However, as much as I really like giving 'em, I've never had to do it on a nightly basis. Perhaps then I'd be singing a different tune, but then again, perhaps not.

Oh, and unlike a certain BBS member, I can go for hours.

There're only two persons I allow to back massage me, & that's my mom & my (maternal) uncle. The former because she knows exactly where to apply the pression, she also has had to learn it somewhat as a beautician, the latter because that's part of his job (feng shui, sp).
