Who here lieks Slayer? I used to talk shit about them, but they're not that bad. My favorite song is Angel of Death.

I hate death metal, and actually metal in general, but I love Slayer. They're miles above every other metal band ever.

The fact that they are branded death metal always turned me off, but now that I think about it, they aren't really death metal, though they obviously influenced it.

I never heard Slayer branded as death metal. They're almost always reffered as trash but they're just recognized for influencing death metal.

I liked them a while back but I lost most of my interest in them already. Cool band though.
