Well, my last picks (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23165) were quite successful and even led me to uploading about 4 or 5 more songs by request in that very same thread! Rather than try to just introduce you to new stuff, the stuff that I'VE been listening to, I decided to shoot for songs that are more your style this week. So, enjoy!
First off, at the request of Tijs and many others, some old school AFI! These are from Very Proud of Ya:
AFI - Perfect Fit (http://www.savefile.com/files/8215217)
AFI - Advances in Modern Technology (http://www.savefile.com/files/8801592)
I heard this song on 1565's radio show a little over a month ago and I've been listening to it almost nonstop since. Love that lady's voice, and the song is just catchy as hell. Be warned: it WILL be in your head all day.
Damone - What We Came Here For (http://www.savefile.com/files/3464131)
Pulley seems to be extremely popular 'round here these days, so I thought I would share what I feel are their two greatest songs. This is pop-punk done right; catchy, insightful lyrics, amazing riffs, etc. These are from their self-titled 1999 album.
Pulley - Gone (http://www.savefile.com/files/2348976)
Pulley - Second Best (http://www.savefile.com/files/7635709)
Speaking of Pulley, here's my favorite song from Ten Foot Pole! (Pulley's singer used to sing for Ten Foot Pole). I recently made a list of my all time favorite songs, and this one came in at number 6. When dealing with someone who listens to as much music as I do, that's a MAJOR accomplishment.
Ten Foot Pole - My Wall (http://www.savefile.com/files/2841826)
Anyone who likes Radiohead even the slightest bit knows this next song already, because it's such a masterpiece. Even if you don't like them, please give this song a shot because it's so fucking good.
Radiohead - Idioteque (http://www.savefile.com/files/6235482)
Finally, another phenomenal band: The Faint. I've uploaded some of their stuff before, and you may have heard some of their more popular shit already, so I'm gonna share a random goodie you may not have heard. The second track from Blank Wave Arcade, released in 1999 if I'm, not mistaken:
The Faint - Call, Call (http://www.savefile.com/files/9128087)
Damn, now THAT is a lot of FREE music! I hope you all enjoy, and please people, discuss!
Take care!
