So I was in a restaurant and while looking at the menu I noticed the map on the back and I also happened to notice a town called 'Intercourse'. *sniggered*
So what are some of the weirdest towns/cities you've heard or read about?

I used to live in a place called "Penrhyndeudraeth".
The nuttiest place name I've heard though, is
"Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch".
As you can probably guess, both those places are in Wales.
EDIT: Here's a picture of the train station with the town name across it:

Yup, it's where all the children's letters to Santa go. There's also a town in Indiana called French Lick.
There's also Hell, MI and Truth or Consequences, NM.

All the best place names are in Australia. Wallaballoo is one, if I remember rightly. I have loads, I'll dig them out later.
Mr Noodles, that's not unusual. Literally 2 minutes from me is an area called The Butts.

That's even funnier when you think of it as saying "Cockburn, a taste of the Bush", since "The Bush" is another name for the Outback.

Two months ago I passed through a town which name was "Entrepenes" (entre penes = between pennis). It was funny but it was not spanish. In spanish it should be translated to "between rocks" (not that funny then)
