I find it sad and sicking how the media exploits everything and has an affect over people. For example the Scott Peterson case was everywhere. You couldn't stop hearing about it. When I went to the grocery store I saw Peterson on the cover of the fucking National Enquierer. I felt bad for him (not the murder) but how much exposure his case had. Everynight on the news I hear about murders in NY and NJ and people act like its not a big deal. Anyone else share these views?
Also the crime rate here is sad. Some kid from my school got robbed while walking a block to another class (we have some of our classes in different buildings).
