you want this (http://www.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=20128). fucking amazing. plus patton does the best scatting on the second track.
Interesting. I was about to PM you asking if you knew more about Zorn's other work. I saw a couple of his Soundtrack albums at the cd store earlier today and was wondering if they were worth checking out.
Where would I be able to get a copy of this? Amazon doesn't find anything when I search for it.

it's a little pricy, i know. if you'd like to sample before buying (i thought it was worth it, but your mileage may vary), i've got it on soulseek - xEndymionx .
I've been trying to get stuff from it off Soulseek since I saw this and I've still got 223 people in line in front of me =/

get it off me, bro. i'll add you to my list, move ya to the front.
i treat my homies right. *pounds chest*
Awesome. I've got you on my list but it says you're not on. I'm logged in as bocojd.
edit: Actually, it's started downloading from that other guy now so you don't have to worry about it. Thanks though.
So it's pretty awesome. I might end up ordering a copy from their site but I'll have to listen a couple more times before I decide.

Upload something, please. I just installed windows in my new hard drive and I don't feel like downloading and installing soulseek right now.
I'm at work right now. I'll upload something when I get back home.

w00t! I'll download them when I'm on the upstairs computer with the rest of my music.
I go through all this effort to upload stuff and nobody even says what they think of it? I'm truly hurt.

I kept on meaning to reply but stuff kept on coming up. Then a few days passed and I felt silly responding so late.
The first two tracks were interesting. I don't like them as individial songs but they seem to be great mood builders for what will come. They're the type of tracks I'd only listen to if I were planning on listening to the whole album from start. The third one was awesome. John Zorn is an excellent soloist. I'm assuming the tracks after are more like the third one so I'm gonna look for them on soulseek when I feel like installing it.
