Everytime you post these guys you always post that song and it's probably the worst one on the EP. It's still better than the stuff most other bands put out, but still. You need to tell them to come play Philly.

you think so? i really, really don't like money tree. and we are becoming ghosts isn't a particularly representative song. so it's start program of lovers, hh is avant garde or sun dial podium. which would you recommend?

Sun Dial Podium is my favorite, closely followed by HH is Avant Garde. There's a couple spots on Start a Program of lovers that sound too cut-and-pasty to me and the beginning always makes me think I'm listening to that House of Jealous Lovers song by the Rapture.

I <3 Dr. Doctor, and I got their EP on iTunes. I agree with nieh, Start Program of Lovers isn't one of my favorites. But neither is Money Tree, though I love the Mexican-flavored intro. The last 3 are definitely my favorite, with HH is Avant Garde taking the #1 spot.

And yeah, it's true that We Are Becoming Ghosts is totally unrepresentative of their sound, but I like it. Even though their singer inexplicably sounds like the Death Cab for Cutie guy in it.

the bassist normally sings, but in we are becoming ghosts it's the keyboardist.

they've also mixed things up at recent shows. they start with we are becoming ghosts but it has more synth in it, then the synth turns into the opening to start program of lovers and the song transitions into that one.
