Then someone deleted a post after they were indexed. I sure as hell ain't going back to fix it. Consider it to be a general guide of sorts. If a mod is willing to go back before post 227 and find the deleted culprit, it would be much appreciated.

there are a bunch of deleted posts. is there a way to tell which one caused it? or can i just undelete one of them to fix it?

One should do the trick in getting the numbers right. If the numbers are only one off. :) Thank you.

only el_monkey's was off by one. When I went deeper into the photo album, they were off by a lot.

By post 500, the index is 13 posts off.

Anyone know how this happened? Individual user deletions, or mod deletions? Because if it's mods, I'll be sad.

i think people are going back and deleting their own posts. Per, I can go back and check...but all the posts i saw were user deleted, not mod deleted.

umm. maybe we can add something to the main post about just editing your post rather than deleting it?

Should do that, but I think it's been mentioned before. Any specific users, if there is someone you can see who has a tendency to do it. You could pm them politely.

I know Maria will at least read this and remember to edit in the future. Sinister probably too. Never heard of Zee except while indexing.

why on earth, if someone, who's TAKEN the TIME to index every single fucking one of the pictures for our sake & says "DON'T delete any posts before this one", do people go back to delete their posts? is it funny to them, or something? seriously.
