For those looking for the most direct route, simply click here (http://cgiirc.blitzed.org/), type in your desired username and enter "#offspring" in the box labeled "Channel".

And then you.. uh.. chat. That's how it works. But I don't see why the BBS Chat topic has to be locked. Couldn't it be open for those who have problems/questions etc?

yeah but it gives me an incorrect username and its unclear if registration is required

also it isn't locked on the general chat area i've now seen.

Not all usernames work though. For example, 1979 didn't work for me. All numbers must be bad.
