Was innocently browsing the Indian English dictionary (http://www.vsubhash.com/desienglish.asp) to get a hang of some Hinglish terminology you see Indians use in their films. Then I came upon "feminists" and had to check it out... Here's the entry, in full:


feminists: Unlike their Western counterparts, Indian feminists are overwhelmingly hetrosexual and involved more in real issues. Most of them may think that lesbians are nationals of a former Soviet republic called Lesbia.

Hella-amusing. Because it's not like Western feminists got involved in real issues... Too busy lezzin' it up.

There are two kinds of western "feminists". Ones that get involved in real issues, and ones that pick apart words. One of these groups gets a lot more publicity.

Then there are the kind who call themselves feminists because they're sixteen years old and liked The Bell Jar, and throw themselves at people like me because we act like sexist assholes and treat them like shit.

I know which kind I prefer.
