Nineteen Seventy Nine

Alright, for a year now, every day I have been on this BBS and remembered, I've looked at the "Today's Birthdays" thing and sent everyone a Happy Birthday PM.
And since I've sent so many PMs in the past year, and since it happens to be my birthday today, I thought I'd clear things up about it.
It isn't just "everyone" I sent the PMs to. When I look at "today's birthdays", I ONLY look for users who I can actually recognize as an active member, and a good one. Good, meaning I've seen them prove points in the past, and they don't post stupid things.
If you did NOT get a "Happy Birthday" PM from me (I started doing this 9/05/2006), it's because of one or more of the following:
- You are a boring member, and I had no idea of your existence.
- You are an annoying member, and you could also be on my ignore list.
- I just happened to not be online that day, or forgot to look at birthdays. The chances of me not being online are highly increased if your birthday was in April-June 2007.
- I posted in your birthday thread, or was planning on posting in the birthday thread.
I thought I'd make a thread about it, because I've sent about 80+ "happy birthday" PMs, and 50 of those members have all replied back, thanking me, with some asking if I do this to "just anybody".
I plan on continuing this. It's easy, doesn't take much time, and maybe I can actually wish the happy birthdays that I missed, or to the better new members who registered after their birthdays.
Yeah, I'm a nice guy.
