Speaker questions

I recently got new speakers because my old ones were cracking. It's been a few months, and my new ones just started. What causes this? They're not the best speakers, but they're supposed to be pretty good, and I haven't heared anyone else with these (Logitech brand) speakers having this problem. Help me out plz?

Which Logitech do you have? I have Logitech too, I'm not sure which brand I have exactly but it's 5.1. Although I can't seem to get the two rear speakers to work, either there isn't any sound or they're cracking too..

Mine's the 240x or something. It has a subwoofer, two speakers, and a 4th console thing that has both an iPod stand, on/off button, and volume controle.
