Reversed messages in songs

I found this video in Youtube. There seems to be a handfull more of the same kind. A song of Marilyn Manson played on reverse (called backmasking). And this video advices that the song has a hidden message played backwards. We've seen rock bands/artists do the same thing before, all since Beatles, so what do you think? Are they for real?

If you go http://www.marilynmanson.com the site opens up by showing an into video, having a sound that sounds like it's playing in reverse, does this mean there is a chance his songs has alike messages?

Um. Some are there deliberately, some aren't and when someone suggests that they are saying something you're likely to try so hard to hear it, that you will. Try listening to something backwards without someone telling you what it says, then being told what its supposed to say and listen. I can almost bet you won't hear a damn thing unless you're told to.

Really there's no point in it other than to be funny or weird. And even then there's no point because it's probably not going to be funny, and since it's about as old as Jesus it's not weird anymore.
