It seems that everything that was posted within a 2-3 hour stretch last night, including PMs, have been deleted/lost. I was up late, and noticed that there was a Database Error at about 3:30AM EST. Could that have anything to do with it?

would 3:30EST equate to about 8:30GMT, since I also got the database error page at that time :(

Yeah, it's too bad. I made a Muse thread that had really great and interesting contributions from a bunch of folks.

Hey there.

We did perform a security update to MySQL last night that caused a little bit of downtime but I'm curious to see reports of threads that went missing. That's not supposed to be part of the program.

I'm going to look into it a bit further.

"HTFU" is widespread among my friends and means "hurry the fuck up." For a moment I forgot anyone other than me knew that.

...what would they be hurrying to do? The updates are done, no more posts should disappear. But the ones that are gone are gone.

Nope. Too lazy. I got my thoughts, like, just right and shiz in that thread too. But I'm too lazy. I'm sure someone will make one soon enough though!
