st. patrick's day thread reminded me. i promised my husband we'd go see them before shane mc gowan drinks himself to death... and omg, best $50 ever spent. not that i understood a single word, because shane was in his usual state and slurred like a mother fucker. he did spin in circles though!

Now someone else knows how amazingly fun they are live. Shane won't ever die until he dies of natural causes or something, they've been giving him a few months to live in magazines since the early 90's.

I've been meaning to read his biography, I'm getting a lend of it soon.
