View Full Version : Compaing remasterd tracks with original tracks

Two 30 seconds long clips from songs off each album. The remasterd first, then the original one. It's in FLAC format so it should be CD quality. Judge for yourself how much a difference there is. You know what songs it is when you hear it.

Not worth buying I'm afraid, they just made it louder, I can do that with my own EQ.

excuse my french but...
how the fuck do you play a FLAC file?
06-23-2008, 04:11 PM
Well, of course you need a media player with the correct codecs for playing the wanted format. And there are several software that are able to play FLAC right from installation. It all depends on what operating system. If you use a GNU/Linux based I know most player are able to play FLAC, I'd guess the same goes for other UNIX and UNIX-like systems. Might be an excetion for Mac OS X. In Windows I have used Winamp for FLAC, but you might need to go and select it as a supported type.
If all other fails VLC Media Player should do it.
