Guitar Pickups

Hey guys.

Im an avid Offspring fan and Noodles is one of my favourite guitar players.
I was wondering what pickups he uses in his Talman guitar/s?

I know he uses the DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge but do not know what he uses in the neck.

Since I have a Talman (The model with the Twin Humbuckers and the Bigsby) I wanted to create a sound as close to Noodles' as I can.

Any help is much appreciated. :)

Hi dude!

He uses the DiMarzio ToneZone on the bridge, and the ones on the neck are the stock pickups from Ibanez.

As far as the sound goes, you probably need an Mesa Boogie Mark IV and VHT Pitbull (playing both through a splitter) to get exactly there.

You could also use the Bogner Ecstasy or a Marshall Plexi instead of the Pitbull.

Strings are D'Addario 0.10...and that's all I know :P

He really doesn't have a unique or hard to achieve tone, just about any half way decent amp dialed in right, half way decent guitar played right and an Ibanez tube screamer will get you exactly there.
