lol. I have a friend who was a finnish citizen, but changed to swedish since you don't have to do military service if you don't want to. In theory you can go to jail, but no one does. I belivie the youths today get a paper home that asks if they want to do it and they go to a site or something and select yes or no.

Why? I don't think so. Men should go to army and serve their country. You don't need to stay after you been there enough, just go when you must.

Anyway, I didn't know that Sweden had this rule, that you don't have to go? Norway doesn't have it, and I'm happy for that. I don't like people that are like "uh, army? what a waste. I don't bother, i'm to lazy, ah god".

Personally, I'm a bit lazy, but not that lazy that I won't go to the army. Go to the army is a positive thing, and it should stay that way.
