Story Behind Gone Away

Someone told me today that the song "Gone Away" was written about Dexter's ex-girlfriend who was killed in a car accident. Can anybody confirm that or is my friend just full of shit?

Dexter has never said what "Gone Away" is about, so anyone who claims to know otherwise is just spreading a rumor. Besides, we can't discuss the band's personal lives on the forum, and that includes speculation like this.
