I just discovered what I think is a reference to The Who in Americana :)

When Dexter sings "I want it right now cause my generation don't like to wait" he stutters so it comes out like this "Ge-generation" just like in the The Who song My Generation.

Yep, certainly would seem like one. I've thought the same thing whenever I hear that song. What band could go through out their career and not make at least one reference to the Who. They're classics.

No, they've made loads of references to greats such as the who.

I always felt that noodles had great taste in music. The Who are in my top ten definitely.

Dexter stuttered during the recording and they left the track in prolly because it sounded good (we did something similar on our demo) - he always sings out generation without stuttering live
The Kids Aren't Alright title is admittedly a take on the Who song title
