sup i just started playin guitar and i dont know how to read these chords. can any1 tell me wat the dark and light circles stand for etc. i uploaded a pic.

i'd just start with G, E, A and D...

Like this for the Minor form

Where your index finger is like a bar across the fretboard, on the 4th fret, and your ring and pinkie fingers are on the 6th frets on the A and D strings.

do a search bout chords. It much easier for some people to learn bout reading guitar tabs. Again do a search bout this also on how to read them. The black dots represent what to frets to need to put your fingers on. The the clear dots represents open notes/frets.
