The more I travel, the more I see that in most parts of the world the people are what I consider short. Especially women. After a while I realized that they arent actually short, it's just that people in Germany are quite tall.
As the average adult female height in the world is about 154 cm (5'1"), I would say I am tall, for being 5'4''.

If you look at the numbers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height#Average_adult_height_around_the_world ) you'll see that in most parts of the world the people are tiiiiny. And considering that 1/3 of the world population lives in India and China....
