I don't know if this has been posted, but this was reported last week at 91x.com (http://www.91x.com/musicblog91x.html?feature=91xmusicblog&start=40):
The Offspring’s first album came out in 1989 and needless to say, the songs off their earlier records now hold a bit of nostalgia for fans today. Frontman Dexter Holland told us about it.
"You know, people react like that as a listener and for sure, people say that about us too, songs of off Smash for sure."
Smash was The Offspring’s third studio effort and it was released in 1994. The Offspring are currently touring in Japan, they play Osaka tomorrow.
