Kick Him When He's Down "single"

I was searching Wikipedia and I came across this. Ok so everyone knows (well almost :D ) that KHWHD is my favourite song. I noticed that it said that it was a single, but it says,

"Although no videos were released for this album, "Kick Him When He's Down" was released as a single in 1995 to airplay only, probably to promote band's older material after the success of Smash, which had been released a year before."

Does anyone know anything about this or have anymore info? Just curious.. thanks.

First i've heard of it getting played after Smash was released. I'm pretty sure it got played a couple times on collage/indie radio a few times though before Smash.

Yeah, it was released as a promotional single in '95. I'm pretty sure of this.

That link say also 1995 - so after smash.

I don't know if was released first Gotta Get Away or Kick Him When He's Down...
