The Offspring will play at Woodstock Festival 2009 (The biggest world open air rock festival 300.000 - 400.000 people !
The festival is 31 July - 2 August, and ENTRANCE AND TENT TERRITORY 100% FREE ! Woodstock take place in Kostrzyn/Kustrin - Poland/Germany border town

THIS WOODSTOCK WILL BE OFFICIAL WOODSTOCK ANNIVERSARY OF WOODSTOCK 69 in Europe (not Germany - Tempelhof). The promotor of polish Woodstock (since 15 years exist) make that deal with Michael Lang.

Strange... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodstock_2009 it still talks about Berlin being the official place in Europe. I heard Santana and some well known old bands will play there so I believe Berlin is still the official place in Europe...

Yeah but I suppose Sziget has more stages and it's longer isn't it? Although the music is only during the last 4 days, that's what someone told me earlier today.

Yes of course, Sziget is better, for me it is 91% I might go to Sziget, and 74% this.

Polish Woodstock had 3 stages: Main stage (on movies), small stage and stage in tent. Music on this stages is: rock, metal, punk, hardcore, reggae, ska and folk. Sziget had many more stages with all kinds of music, and with famous band's. In Woodstock the most played not know band's and there came every year 300.000 - 400.000 people !
