Hey, I live around Nashville but I've never been to this festival. I assume it's like the many others in Nashville though.

Basically, you'll have the downtown area / river fenced off. The stage will be set up on a barge and people will stand on the flat ground all the way up the hill to the buildings depending on attendance. If you want a good view you might want to sit through the previous bands and move your way up as they move.

If you want any specific information, feel free to ask. I believe the concert will last a little over an hour, even though they had a 3 hour time slot earlier.
