Can't really go wrong in trying to emulate it with an Ibanez RG or an old Ibanez Talman, and a Tubescreamer distortion pedal. It's basically what they use.

Also, Dexter uses DiMarzio pickups. They are pretty good. I generally lean towards Seymour Duncan, but thats a heavier sound.

Ibanez guitars are good for offspring quiality sound. But more has to do with the pick ups and amp.

Fender Stratocasters. Noodles used them in the videos for "Come Out and Play" and "Self Esteem".

Get a Les Paul and a Dimarzio Super Distortion pickup on the bridge and it's pretty much it!
For RAFRAG sounds, get an SG with P90 pickups.

i think the best offspring sound would come from dexter's and noodles' gutairs.
good luck getting them.
