I just watched fifteen seconds of Up (before the wife dies and the story gets under way) and it was enough to have me grinning like a moron and full of good cheer.

Seriously, fuck Pixar. It's filling my head with wonderful realities and destroying my expectations and coping mechanisms in this imperfect world.

EDIT - Buzz Lightyear is still the best Pixar character ever created. Also the best character ever.

Pixar is almost built for the not-child, the teenager or twenty something who misses the aspects of his built-up childhood while still realizing that the media doesn't hold up over time.

They one-up your one-upped memories, which is quite a feat.
