NEOCON is the most epic and amazing intro i have ever seen at a concert!!!! pleez play it for the next tour!!!!!!! the shows arent complete with out it.

they didnt do it when i saw them but they need to do it at warped a few years ago suicide machines had this song and before it there like ok i want the crowed to split right in the middle so it was one half and a space then another and there like ok this next song starts on drums and as soon as you hear those drums i want you guys to attack it was awesome then later simple plan was playing at the same time so they told everybody to go attack the simple plan fans i geuss what im getting at is offspring should do something like that

its called the wall of death. lamb of god did it at ozzfest and it was really wild.

i would much rather hear them finish off with session rather than start out with neocon. both would be awesome. but session is the best ending song ever and they havent done it (at least in philly) for the longest time.

I know that they have played Neocon a few times on this last tour. I am almost 100% sure they played it in Canada at the beginnning of the Splinter tour. In fact I am sure they played it at the LA and Vegas shows too!

Yeah that's what I was thinking The Offspring should start doing on their tours. They have so many songs they can play, but they only touch,what, 25 of them. Also you usually find out what their setlist consists of on the message board so it's not much of a surprise then. So if they switch it up each night, then there is no telling what they will play.
Anyway, Neocon kicks ass live, especially since they play The Noose directly after it.

Well... after the offspring did "Splinter"... they sometimes open the concerts with "Bad Rabit", "Session" or "Americana" well... all good songs to open a concert!! But whem I went to a Offspring show in october 21 (2004) well... they open the concert with "Neocon" and fuck!! It was awesome!! Firt... Aton started to play on the drums... but it was all dark... after... some lights turn on him... after... Greg started to play on bass... after... Noodles atarted to play his guitar!! Finaly.. Dexter cames...! This intro was realy good!!
They kick ass in that concert!!

In fact, they did play it when I saw them live...that was last year, august 21st, in Munich.
The lights went out and Atom climbed onto the stage...he still was in the shaddows until he grabbed a drummer stick and bashed the rythm with one hand. He did it over and over again, I think it must have been 12 times or something. Suddenly there was bass guitar and then we realized that greg was on stage. They played together for some time, always that same rythm. Then Noodles came up and played guitar. Finally Dexter went to his microphone and clapped his hands, then he began singin (We are strong, we are right etc). Must have been 3 minutes or something and the whole audience kept screaming the "ohhhh!!".
Very cool intro, but I guess that you must have seen it to know what I mean

I was there too! But I saw Noodles, Atom and Higgins before they went on stage. When the first band played, they stood and watched! :D I SAW THEM!

Ya they played neocon in dublin last march, and it really set the mark for an incredible show. I just wish they played more stuff from there other albums, I mean the gig was basically songs from splinter, smash and americana. all i want from ixnay and want you bad off conspiracy. Not that im complaining but it would have been such a treat to see something i wasnt expecting. Im very interested in what the set is for this greatest hits album is. Did anyone hear anything about it lately??When its coming out etc.........
