Help with email...

Ok, sorry I wasn't really bothered finding the 'computer problems thread', but anyway....

So yesterday I just found my eircom.net account on my laptop...even though I had forgotten the password for it on my old computer, this one isnt asking me for one for some reason :confused:
Only thing is, it says that it 'could not find the host 'POP3'', which is the server. What exactly must i do to put in the correct server code?
It's on outlook express...

Ok, i've done that...only thing now is, when i do the whole "send/receive", it comes up to put in my username and password. They're already in there, yet when i click "ok", it just keeps coming up. Doesnt say the username or password are wrong or anything

The POP setting may be slightly off...

http://www.answersthatwork.com/ISP_pages/isp_eircom.htm gives a list of alternatives. Give each of them a try. Outlook tends not to tell you the reason that login fails.
