Yes, I need a new base. I have about £200 to spen and Im looking around. I like the "Dean Custom Zone" bass in flouesent pink, It looks kick ass :p.

Does anyone know of any other good basses for around that price?

Any Ibanez bass.

Definitely Ibanez GSR200. Unless you're going for the looks rather than the sound :) Then get the Dean.
But I love the look of Ibanez GSR200 in pearl white. It's the one of the coolest looking basses on earth in my opinion.

Low priced Deans are terrible.

new bass...ok.. 4 or 5 strings? what kind music you play? Punk? Metal? Jazz? Rock?

4 strings: Yamaha RBX374
5 strings: Yamaha RBX375


good bass, great sound and very cheap :D

That's true. But looks are the most important for some people... for instance for Travis Barker :)

Cheap, but not THAT cheap. RBX374 costs 50% more than the Ibanez.

We play Metalcore, think BFLV and AX7.

Ive been looking at the old Ibanez EXs. They sound really good and go for a pritty low price these days so I might see If I can get one of those off ebay or something.

i know a friend whos selling a westfield bass with the amp, lead, strap and picks for £150 ish (price not final) and its in perfect condition. i can give u my friends number if u want
