Guys I have the gear to link my guitar and pc. Any one know of a nice prog, freeware or other wise serials for the prog to record?

Sound Recorder? No seriously. Unless you want a program with effects, any old sound recorder will do (given you can choose the sample rate). I suggest GoldWave.

I would like to record the drums 1st then the guitars then the vocals ect...

for vocals and guitar you can use any sound recording software... i'm using the one that came with nero(nero wave editor)... but for drums i suggest sequbeat

Firstly, you're gonna have a very hard time recording the drums on your computer. You'll need to do one drum at a time. Put practice pads on all the pieces of the kit that you won't be using and put a mic on the one piece that you'll be recording. It'll take time but worth it in the end.
Secondly, that's a tripboy impersonator.
