Offspring Skull brought to life

By now most people around here know that at the end of each year I usually post some new Offspring-ish artwork that I create. This year I didn't make anything 'christmasy' as I did last year, but I did try to bring the famous Offspring Skull to life.

Here's what I managed to do. Hope you all like it. :rolleyes:
Oh, and I have this in higher resolution if anyone is interested.

UPDATE: I added some texture to the outer and inner circle, and also to the font, as suggested. Thanks for the replies guys!

Looks good man. Though I would like to see the realistic effect on the outer circle as well, and possibly the font. To make everything a whole.

Smells like metal. Agressive and angry. But it's cool. Maybe It needs some gleam to add, in my opinion

I don't like the teeth at all. Other than that, it's really good. I like the shading and the colours.

Thanks man. Yeah about the teeth... I also like it. Real skull teeth. Would look wierd if the teeth were totally black or just square like shapes. What did you have in mind Shank?

Depends on what program you're using, but I basically just desaturated a metal texture and used it as a clipping mask over the circle, blending it nicely and accurately in.

Lol @ the expression "skull brought to life" sounds a bit of oxymoron but it's cool & true cause you brought the skull to life indeed!I like the pic very much!Well done!!!!:cool:
