I have tried several times to have plants at my house, and have invariably killed almost everything. The only exception being a few plants that are basically 4 foot leafy weed things that I have in pots in my back yard.
I once killed a cactus, don't exactly know how. But I did and it's dead.
What kind of plants do you like/have/would reccomend to a person who is not responsible enough to maintain a plot of sandspers?

Fail. You had me on doors and fonts, but plants are actually interesting. Like ones that are carnivorous are freaking awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z10iiTkV3XU

I'd like to have a flycatcher, http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=fvwp&NR=1&v=kRUaJD0oT6A.
Now I have an amaryllis:

Now it's about to hibernate. It may hibernate and bloom for few good years, mine is going to sleep for a second time. I love it as I hate cut flowers dying. This is first plant I really care about. Caution: it's poisonous, so don't bite and injure. Should be kept in classes.
